Freida Pinto

For most actors, you’re first film isn’t the greatest thing ever and in many cases it can even be embarrassing; check out Jennifer Aniston in Leprechaun if you need some convincing. For Freida Pinto, her first major role came in what would end up being the best movie of 2008, not a bad start.

We got our first look at Freida in Danny Boyle’s 2008 masterpiece, Slumdog Millionaire. At only 28-years-old, Freida is one of the most promising actresses (not to mention, one of the hottest) in Hollywood today. Not super surprising given that Freida was one of India’s hottest models before landing the big role. Oddly enough, she didn’t take a single acting class until after Slumdog.

 

Recently, you’ve seen her in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which received overly positive critical reviews. Currently, you can see her in The Immortals as she takes on the role of Phaedra.
