Squeezing Every Last Drop Out Of Michael

Let’s just dive into this one headfirst: Michael Jackson’s death HAD TO be a media frenzy. There’s no denying it. The man’s life was lived in front of a lens, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that his death and the aftermath would be a breeding ground for paparazzi scum bags across the world.

While alive, the man had his share of emotional turmoil, legal complications and public scrutiny. However, even in death, it seems as though Michael Jackson is putting TMZ employee’s kids through college. Everyone is worried (and rightfully so) about his children. Along with that, though, comes endless questions about his will, his belongings, his money and even posthumous musical releases.

The funny thing about it all, is that none of the tabloids, none of the photogs, none of the sensationalized journalists actually have any impact on any of Michael’s endeavors. Even though he’s gone, his paparazzi coverage is bigger than ever and he’s sold 9 million albums since his death. Once the press is done publicizing nasty legal allegations, bitter custody and material battles, and conspiracy theories maybe we can all remember Michael Jackson for what he SHOULD be remembered for: his music.
